#2. Requirements.
Passport
Passports should be:
- Valid for at least the next 6 months from exit
- Two totally blank pages. One page is for the visa, the other is for the stamp(does not include the page reserved for “observations”.
Photograph
Photographs Two recent (under 6 month old) passport photo (50mm x 50mm) taken against a white background.
Application Form
- Two signed applications needed. The Ghana High Commission has instituted a web-based visa appointment system and visa application form, which must be printed and signed by the applicant in duplicate. In order to fulfil this particular requirement, the applicant has two options:
- The Applicant can complete the online process themselves
- To do this, please use the link
- Follow the instructions. Unique Visa Services can assist the traveler by making the online payment on their behalf.
- More details on how to navigate the website can be found in the section below entitled Ghana Online Application Process . IMPORTANT : When filling the form and reach ‘Step 7’ please select the following:
- Payment Option > Card Payment at Counter
- Payment Method > Visa Debit
(Failure to choose these options may result on losing your money as Refunds may not be accepted.)
- Please ensure that once the form has been completed, you print out the following components from the online portal and include them with the rest of your application pack:
- The “Appointment Details” cover sheet
- The “Visa Payment Slip” where the applicant has paid the visa fee online by selecting “Card Payment at Counter”
- The fully completed Visa Application Form in duplicate
- Failure to supply these documents will result in the non issuance of your visa.

NON UK OR EU/EEA PASSPORT HOLDERS
- Non UK or EU/EEA passport holders must have a valid UK visa in their passport and should provide the original and a copy of their permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least half a year(except for those who are visa or permit exempt for residing or working in the UK).
